- Budget's FAQ covers the pay-later reservations it holds with a card, which are offered only in some cases: those cancel with no fee until 48 hours before pickup and cost $75 after that.
- Prepaid (Pay Now)
- A Pay Now booking can be changed at any time, even several times, with no fee, so if the lower rate is on budget.com, change your reservation to it before you think about cancelling. Cancelling a Pay Now booking costs $50 at least 24 hours before pickup and $150 inside 24 hours, and a no-show gets no refund.
- Price guarantee
- Budget's Best Rate Guarantee covers Pay Now bookings made at least 72 hours ahead. Find a lower Budget rate within 24 hours of booking, and the guarantee matches the lower base rate and takes 10% off it.
- Budget Fastbreak
- Add your Budget Fastbreak number when you book the lower rate, so the new reservation earns and gets member benefits like the old one.
